should i buy golf equipment online?
Friday, April 16th, 2010lc asked:
when i wanted a putter from golfsmith, they didn’t have my length, so they ordered it online for me. when it arrived it was scratched in five places (severe), and some paint chipped was chipped off. so, from them on i’ve been very skeptical about buying online, i’ve never done it again.

The point: can i trust getting equipment in perfect shape from buying online, (stores like golfsmith, golfgalaxy, and TGW)?
Only want information on golfsmith, golf galaxy, and tgw!
I want information about the quality of products.

How do I correct my golf swing?
Wednesday, April 7th, 2010SoSueme asked:
My takeaway is giving me problems. My club goes WAY inside on the takeaway, thus causing my downswing to be flat and away from the ball, causing me to make contact around the hosel. Is there any type of equipment that works to correct this problem? Or…maybe a golf tip that you know that could help? Thanks!

What field of study lends itself best to golf research?
Friday, April 2nd, 2010MikeyJ asked:
What field or fields would be best to study the science of golf? Mainly focusing either on the equipment or on the forces of the swing itself.

I would assume aerospace engineering for the flight of a golf ball. Possibly mechanical engineering for clubs? Physics for the swing? Can someone give an explanation for what the best fields are and also WHY?
Thanks.
