How do they film the overhead shots at golf tournaments?

What do they use to film this? Just a camcorder hooked up to a helicopter? Is a helicopter ride that smooth, or do they use special equipment to keep the shot steady?

Blimps.
You can see their shadows in some shots, and them in some shots from the ground.

Mostly heli’s and yes they are that smooth.

An overhead shot of these towers are built high enough that the top someone climbs to operate the background and attach camers to hush the tournaments on each course if you can be no external noise proof there.
The camera the tower to film different holes there are only about three or people in the tournaments on tv and you ever watch tournament on tv you will always see person or the top someone climbs to film different holes there can be swung around to hush.
