What are some golf equipment catalogs I could order?
May 27th, 2010Need tips on teaching my girlfriend how to Golf?
May 25th, 2010So, finally my gf showed interest in learning how to golf, which make me as happy as little child on x-mas morning. Anyway, I bought her all the equipment, clothes, etc. (I’m proably more excited about her new hobby than she is.) I think its fair to say she *****. Because frankly she does, and besides shes just beginning. The ******* part is OK, it’s her attitude. She get offended when I tell her shes doing something wrong. I also don’t think she takes my advice serious (BTW, I have a lot of experience golfing). She has potential and I can’t wait for the day we can go golfing together, but she has really bad attitude. And snaps at me when I tell her what to do. Any advice on better training techniques?

What are the essential tools and supplies I need to start building golf clubs?
May 20th, 2010Hello,
I really want to get into club building but I’m overwhelmed by the amount of tools and equipment available.
What are the essential things that I need? I’d like to start by building a driver, a putter, and a couple of wedges.
Is someone willing to make me a list of what REALLY is essential to get started? I have a lot of basic tools but I know there are some specific things that I need to purchase.
Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Buying Golf Clubs.1st Set?
May 20th, 2010I am a beginner golfer, but have golfed a few times before….my buddy works at a golf shop and says he can get me Callaway x18 clubs and Callaway drivers with a bag for $750 with a bag. My roommate said I shouldn’t because I wouldn’t be able to tell the difference? Just looking for some advice as I don’t have a clue. I’m jut the kind of person that says if im gonna do it, do it right from the start, but maybe that is the wrong philosophy when it come to golf equipment? Thanks ahead of time!

Best Memorial Day golf sales?
May 19th, 2010Does it look stupid if I buy a very expensive sports equipment without being professional?
May 14th, 2010If I bought a very expensive baseball glove, bat, golf club, or even a $5000 bike, and I’m not a professional does it look weird?
Some of the road bikes out there are in the $5000 range. Should I be interested in those kinds of bikes only if I’m also serious about being in the Tour de France and not just a being weekend rider?
Looking forward to your own opinions.
Any other thoughts?

What basic equipment do I need as a beginner golfer?
May 11th, 2010I am 26 and I am getting ready to take my first golf lesson sometime within the next month. I am going to go to a driving range next week just to hit some balls and learn the basic swing motion for driving. But, what I’m wondering is what equipment I would have to purchase as a beginner if I decide I am liking it. Thanks for your help!

How do they film the overhead shots at golf tournaments?
May 7th, 2010I’m not talking about the shots of the ball in flight, but rather when they are “previewing” a hole, they have an overhead shot of the hole - from the tee box up to the green. What do they use to film this? Just a camcorder hooked up to a helicopter? Is a helicopter ride that smooth, or do they use special equipment to keep the shot steady?

Golf Help- Are my old Hogan irons affecting my game enough that I should invest in new ones?
May 4th, 2010I finished an awful round of golf (123) and was walking off the course when one of the employees gawked at my set of irons. I have an old set of Hogan edge irons that he said would only be used by single digit handicappers. It said those clubs were very unforgiving and would deff affect my game. Is this a case of the equipment really being in fault or is it not really that big of a deal? Im now considering if i should invest in new irons
